Zbyszko Cupial scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vladimir Miheev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Pedro Silva. In the 24th minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes in the game Willy Stieler did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Albin Holweck. Canastro FC's attentive Marquinhos Nogueira managed to snatch the ball when Willy Stieler made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Zbyszko Cupial took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Canastro FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valter Abreu in the 80th minute. A nice corner shot did that Su Jian Lin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Frank Sachs sped through Canastro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vladimir Miheev. Willy Stieler made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adrian Dreifuss however managed to control. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Zbyszko Cupial ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Willy Stieler made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Canastro FC's Wlodzimierz Absolwent. After 96 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. Canastro FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
