Keld Paulsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Elija in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 minutes, Ciro Elija made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Denmark's Keld Paulsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Elija in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Ciro Elija had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias Ludvigsen during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Denmark! After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Túlio Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Túlio Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Túlio Maciel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keld Paulsen having to make a save. After 79 minutes Chelsicha's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chris Nygaard who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute Victor Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theis Winther to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Theis Winther got a free kick in the 97th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Túlio Maciel in the 100th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. Denmark's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
