In the 22nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Winnicki in the 29th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Marcell Barovero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ksawery Winnicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. In the 38th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Roceira SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 38th minute, one of Roceira SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Roceira SC. Netherlands's David Eikelkamp quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Válbson Moraes, made in the 45th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcell Barovero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michel Haaland was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcell Barovero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. After 53 minutes Roceira SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Egbert Nijveldt drilling the ball in to score 0-3 behind Roceira SC's goalkeeper. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Haaland in the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Roceira SC's Marcell Barovero got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcell Barovero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Marcell Barovero. Roceira SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcell Barovero quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Winnicki in the 83rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcell Barovero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wim Wilmes during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wim Wilmes hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcell Barovero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Netherlands fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Netherlands's Wim Wilmes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 95th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Roceira SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
