Aki Hofstedde's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aki Hofstedde helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Freestylers got a freekick which was hit by Aki Hofstedde. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Georg Arbogast's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keld Paulsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aki Hofstedde in the 26th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Freestylers got a freekick which was hit by Fatih Arendt. In the 34th minute of the match, Lars Schuster tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Keld Paulsen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Schuster, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Georg Arbogast received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Mathias Ludvigsen put in a rough tackle.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bertram Svenningsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Tino Fenstermacher in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Theis Winther. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florian Violonchi during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 53 minutes into the game, one of Freestylers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 59th minute Luís Fernando Díaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Freestylers's Florian Violonchi got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Díaz in the 70th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikkel Wulff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Schlagbauer having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Urs Unterberger threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Olav Graversen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Díaz in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Lars Schuster notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard got a free kick in the 86th minute. When Freestylers's Luís Fernando Díaz in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Arbogast, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freestylers's Tobias Schlagbauer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Freestylers from getting a goal against them.
