After having played for 37 minutes, Fabio Schneider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Austria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Schneider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when 孙适悦 got free with Fabio Auer in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 孙适悦 took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Auer. Fabio Auer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.

Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 高迪远 in the 57th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Marc Kronecker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Austria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德 the free kick. The supporters of ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德 booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonhard Maier kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 武弘景, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The ≮王者归来≯多特蒙德 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
