Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 9th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Vykans Vikingar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. The corner led Netherlands's Wim Wilmes to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcus Ekrot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 19 minutes, Wim Wilmes made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Ekrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 36th minute of the match. Emmanuel Dennis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 39th minute of the match. Kees Mooiweer kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Mutumba to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcus Ekrot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Berart, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Alessandro Micucci got a free kick in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Marcus Ekrot in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 61 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Dennis in the 62nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Ekrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Nijveldt to maneuver through the defense. When Martin Mutumba came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Vykans Vikingar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Mutumba couldn't finish the play. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Genaro Remicio replaced Emmanuel Dennis. In the 70th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcus Ekrot was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute Börje Stål shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vykans Vikingar's Börje Stål in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Remicio came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Marcus Ekrot made a huge save. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Stål in the 81st minute of play. After 82 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernan Berart who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Vykans Vikingar's corner Fernan Berart fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
