Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Metod Mlynar started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Holub in the 6th minute of play forced M-WKP Kombornia's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Vavrinec Koleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andoni Zubizarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by M-WKP Kombornia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pavol Koleno was slow to take the kick. During this time Slovakia's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Pavol Koleno almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but M-WKP Kombornia's Andoni Zubizarreta did a great save. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind M-WKP Kombornia's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ludomil Anszczak came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the M-WKP Kombornia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludomil Anszczak couldn't finish the play. Ludomil Anszczak's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Henrich Slany firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Metod Mlynar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Andoni Zubizarreta. If Metod Mlynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Slovakia's Metod Mlynar in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye M-WKP Kombornia's goalie prevented a goal. Slovakia's Vavrinec Koleno got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in M-WKP Kombornia's zone, Metod Mlynar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andoni Zubizarreta came out of the goal and Metod Mlynar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Ciborek in the 52nd minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Ciborek in the 53rd minute of the match. With a little luck, M-WKP Kombornia's Andoni Zubizarreta got control of the ball when Metod Mlynar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Iwan Ciborek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. Andoni Zubizarreta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Metod Mlynar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 70 minute of play. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Ludomil Anszczak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. The supporters of M-WKP Kombornia booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vavrinec Koleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind M-WKP Kombornia's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Metod Mlynar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vavrinec Koleno kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind M-WKP Kombornia's goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tytus Purzycki made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Miromir Nowacki however managed to control.
