After a rather tough play, Matanza and Steelers's Álvaro de Alcântara got a free kick in the 4th minute. Fabio Schneider blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mané Cabral having to make a save. After 9 played minutes Matanza and Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Charles Brito. In the 10th minute of the match Sandro Galishoff sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mané Cabral skillfully saved the ball. Matanza and Steelers's Mané Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Schneider in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Marvin Harrer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Austria and the Matanza and Steelers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Matanza and Steelers booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Harrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Marc Kronecker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Christian Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Brito hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Fabio Auer made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Nilton Capixaba sent off a good shot on target. Mané Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Schneider in the 33rd minute of the match. Charles Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Álvaro de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandro Galishoff was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Leonhard Maier. After recieving a nice pass, Matanza and Steelers's Christian Siqueira tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Emil Seidler kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Sandro Galishoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mané Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Nilton Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matanza and Steelers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilton Capixaba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fabio Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Schneider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Cabral having to interfere. Christian Wallner hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Fabio Schneider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Siqueira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Auer. Austria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Austria players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Matanza and Steelers.
