Toro Martínez started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Justino Elequemedo hit a great ball. Silvestre Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Sârban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Peli came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban. But to his dismay, Nistor Sârban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvestre Peli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rega Merida CF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filcho Dzhagarov in the 17th minute. The corner led Rega Merida CF's Ryan Gravenhorst to fire away a dangerous shot which Silvestre Peli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Nistor Sârban took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Silvestre Peli to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Nistor Sârban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rega Merida CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Nistor Sârban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Peli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliver Rizzo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Silvestre Peli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filcho Dzhagarov in the 26th minute. Toro Martínez took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmund Kojder. Edmund Kojder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Edmund Kojder came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez. But to his dismay, Toro Martínez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Emanuel Lucila hit a great ball. Silvestre Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Sârban in the 35th minute of the match. Rega Merida CF's Filcho Dzhagarov managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Justino Elequemedo in the 39 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Nistor Sârban kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silvestre Peli. That made the score 3-2 in the 40 minute of play.

Ryan Gravenhorst made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Despidida AFC's Kees Harmsen. Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco was substituted for Toro Martínez. The corner led to Despidida AFC's Dominik Fink getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Rega Merida CF were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Despidida AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filcho Dzhagarov took the corner. In the 70th minute Nistor Sârban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvestre Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Sârban in the 71st minute of the match. Rega Merida CF made a substitution. Wasyl Dziurowicz replaced Cemal Palabıyık. Rega Merida CF's Leonello Messias was substituted for Karol Swiderski. Feliksas Fenichev made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Rega Merida CF's Dominik Wincek. Nistor Sârban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvestre Peli having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nistor Sârban in the 80th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Velasco in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmund Kojder saved Rega Merida CF from getting behind. Rega Merida CF's Edmund Kojder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Despidida AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rega Merida CF.
