But to his dismay, Shi Jing Feng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertinho Alagoano in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Germano saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Charalambos Vokolos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Germano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. When Benigno Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Benigno Abreu a yellow card for diving instead.
