Tan Cheng's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodriguinho Sousa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 32nd minute of play. Deilmison van Basten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afiz Teo having to make a save. In the 40th minute, Denílson Magalhães made a precise shot to the right of Afiz Teo. Redbourn AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Deilmison van Basten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Deilmison van Basten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Afiz Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deilmison van Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betão Marquez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. Rodriguinho Sousa had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Afiz Seng's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryan Tan to strike the kick off in the second half. Afiz Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 54th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Afiz Teo. That made the score 0-5 after 56 minutes of play. 61 minutes in the game Gu Zhan Cheng managed to make a good shot after having fooling the defense, but Afiz Teo was perfectly placed and made a save by the left post.
