In the 3rd minute, Ringsted drenge's Mattias Claudinger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Anders Barning received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ilija Skugor came out and tried to block the shot, but Anders Barning slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 9th minute. When Dinko Stankovic fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croatia's protests and gave Dinko Stankovic a yellow card for diving instead. Dinko Stankovic kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Ringsted drenge's Thorleif Mejnert. But to his dismay, Thorleif Mejnert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 20th match minute, Ringsted drenge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Vrou to maneuver through the defense. Sander Bohlers kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Terkild Ringbæk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damir Pongrac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ringsted drenge's zone, Damir Pongrac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Terkild Ringbæk came out of the goal and Damir Pongrac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Claudinger might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilija Skugor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mattias Claudinger ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Sander Bohlers fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ilija Skugor, passed just outside the right post. After 32 minutes, Thorleif Mejnert made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Croatia's Ilija Skugor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 35 minutes, Mattias Claudinger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ringsted drenge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Claudinger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mattias Claudinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sander Bohlers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorleif Mejnert, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Thorleif Mejnert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toni Mauzer made a kick off. The supporters of Ringsted drenge booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damir Pongrac didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Teo Gudelj hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Thorleif Mejnert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thorleif Mejnert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 69 minutes into the game, Teo Gudelj was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Croatia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ringsted drenge the free kick. Teo Gudelj kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Damir Pongrac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Damir Pongrac hit a great ball. Sander Bohlers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilija Skugor having to make a save. Terkild Ringbæk made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Neven Culina sent off a good shot on target.
