The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. It was a penalty for Asturcones d´la Abadía! Asturcones d´la Abadía:s Ermegildo Delgado showed great skill when he stopped Yağız Ergünay:s penalty. After 6 minutes, Bernardo Molina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asturcones d´la Abadía and the Foot Ball Club di Roma players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Bernardo Molina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yağız Ergünay in the 7th minute of play. When Armando Ceresoli came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Foot Ball Club di Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Ceresoli couldn't finish the play. Ermegildo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Ceresoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ermegildo Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niccolo Zaniolo in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute Xurxo Lagunas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Pardini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Di Marco, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ermegildo Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Ceresoli in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Armando Ceresoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Pardini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xurxo Lagunas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Foot Ball Club di Roma booed when Asturcones d´la Abadía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermegildo Delgado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Ceresoli went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Foot Ball Club di Roma made a substitution. Fedele Cimino replaced Armando Ceresoli. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filomeno Tormes made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Foot Ball Club di Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Xurxo Lagunas came free, but Alvaro Pardini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Delgado was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Niccolo Zaniolo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niccolo Zaniolo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alessandro Anastasi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ermegildo Delgado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 63rd match minute, Foot Ball Club di Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yağız Ergünay to maneuver through the defense. Ermegildo Delgado came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Foot Ball Club di Roma's Niccolo Zaniolo. But to his dismay, Niccolo Zaniolo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Ermegildo Delgado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Asturcones d´la Abadía's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yağız Ergünay was slow to take the kick. During this time Foot Ball Club di Roma's players had a chance to rest. In the 76th match minute, Foot Ball Club di Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Cristante to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Foot Ball Club di Roma's Niccolo Zaniolo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermegildo Delgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ermegildo Delgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niccolo Zaniolo in the 82nd minute. Xurdin Candamo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Ermegildo Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niccolo Zaniolo in the 88th minute of play. Alvaro Pardini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asturcones d´la Abadía. Foot Ball Club di Roma played a much better game than Asturcones d´la Abadía and deserved their victory. The Asturcones d´la Abadía players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
