Anatoliy Trubin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 17th minute of the match. Sun Lang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 32nd minute of play forced San Fantastico 89ers's goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to San Fantastico 89ers getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sun Lang hit a great ball. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betão Basso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. In the 45th minute, Frans Stigsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hegedus Henrik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, San Fantastico 89ers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sun Lang to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Sun Lang came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatoliy Trubin having to interfere. Du Xi Ang hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd play minute Antal Valentin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anatoliy Trubin. 0-1. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Han Lei's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Sun Lang came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Claes Mogren fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Fantastico 89ers's protests and gave Claes Mogren a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of San Fantastico 89ers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hungary:s goal. Anatoliy Trubin had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Antal Valentin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Han Lei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 played minutes San Fantastico 89ers got a freekick which was hit by Du Xi Ang. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San Fantastico 89ers.
