In a very dangerous position, a player in Scotland fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Romeo Păunescu walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeo Păunescu in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Higgins saved Scotland from getting behind. With a little luck, Scotland's Alexander Higgins got control of the ball when Romeo Păunescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 35 minutes, Ashton Nelson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scotland and the -BZF- Ursus Magura players grew even worse after the yellow card. 39 minutes into the match, Victor Baldu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexander Higgins, 2-0. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The supporters of -BZF- Ursus Magura booed when Scotland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayaan McGowan didn't get a good kick on the ball. -BZF- Ursus Magura's Victor Baldu got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Ibrișin in the 60th minute of the match. Robert McNeill hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Horaţiu Cozaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Păunescu scored 3-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Higgins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Păunescu in the 69th minute of play. Horaţiu Cozaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alexander Higgins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Romeo Păunescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Higgins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Horaţiu Cozaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. -BZF- Ursus Magura's supporters rose to their feet, but Horaţiu Cozaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Higgins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. -BZF- Ursus Magura had played much better football throughout.
