Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damian Banaszak started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Banaszak in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilija Skugor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Banaszak in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Sidorowicz in the 13th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Przemyslaw Frankowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Karol Sidorowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Przemyslaw Frankowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Ilija Skugor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 24 minutes into the game, Dinko Stankovic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Croatia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SMOCZANKA MIELEC the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinko Stankovic to maneuver through the defense. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Banaszak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karol Sidorowicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ilija Skugor came out and tried to block the shot, but Karol Sidorowicz slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Przemyslaw Frankowski in the 35th minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Dinko Stankovic. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Sidorowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SMOCZANKA MIELEC booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damir Pongrac didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Edward Laba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Damian Banaszak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ilija Skugor. Damian Banaszak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Toni Mauzer made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Damian Banaszak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilija Skugor was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 54th match minute, Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Terzic to maneuver through the defense. Ilija Skugor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominik Banaszak went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Frankowski came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eduard Kostelac fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croatia's protests and gave Eduard Kostelac a yellow card for diving instead. Croatia's Ilija Skugor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Laba in the 65th minute of play. After 65 minutes, Toni Mauzer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Croatia and the SMOCZANKA MIELEC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Mauzer to maneuver through the defense. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Sidorowicz in the 69th minute of play. When Martin Bosak fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croatia's protests and gave Martin Bosak a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Martin Bosak hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Przemyslaw Frankowski notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Croatia's Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute, Przemyslaw Frankowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilija Skugor was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 81 minutes into the game, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Damian Banaszak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilija Skugor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. The supporters of SMOCZANKA MIELEC booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bosak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Laba, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Przemyslaw Frankowski came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Croatia defense, Edward Laba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. The Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilija Skugor should have stopped the shot.
