Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Metod Mlynar made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Slovakia booed when Sportivo Desamparados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Inocente didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Matias Haitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Desamparados's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slovakia the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Sportivo Desamparados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Haitz to maneuver through the defense. After 18 minutes, Elias Bernebe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Desamparados and the Slovakia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Desamparados's Elias Bernebe got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Sportivo Desamparados's Thiago Caniggia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Balbo came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Vavrinec Koleno got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Luca Balbo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Oliver Holub came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Slovakia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Holub couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute Thiago Caniggia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Luca Balbo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luca Toranzo charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Toranzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Luca Toranzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Inocente hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Gianluca Augusto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavol Koleno in the 41st minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Sportivo Desamparados's Thiago Caniggia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrich Slany narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Caniggia in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavol Koleno to maneuver through the defense. After 57 minutes of play, Sportivo Desamparados's Luca Balbo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrich Slany was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thiago Caniggia kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Metod Mlynar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Gianluca Augusto made a huge save. Luca Toranzo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Thiago Caniggia notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Slovakia's Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zigmund Maliar to maneuver through the defense. Luca Balbo took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 89th minute, Luca Balbo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When Zigmund Maliar fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slovakia's protests and gave Zigmund Maliar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zigmund Maliar to maneuver through the defense. Sportivo Desamparados's Thiago Caniggia got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sportivo Desamparados fans cheered their team off the field, for while Slovakia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
