Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Göksel Taşdan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Göksel Taşdan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Çakır Alyakut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göksel Taşdan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Casper Claes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 13 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Çakır Alyakut made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Göksel Taşdan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. Alaaddin Benlioğlu hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Göksel Taşdan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Göksel Taşdan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Casper Claes. That made the score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. The throw-in from Floris Claeys in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by 1930 Bafraspor's Tayfun Kahraman. In the 30th minute 1930 Bafraspor were awarded a corner. Thierry Hermans went to the cornerflag to take it. Thierry Hermans made a great header on 1930 Bafraspor's corner, it was just that Belgium's Casper Claes managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind 1930 Bafraspor's goalkeeper Çakır Alyakut, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 1930 Bafraspor's attentive Tayfun Kahraman managed to snatch the ball when Floris Claeys made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, 1930 Bafraspor's Göksel Taşdan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Çakır Alyakut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Dervaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute of the match Belgium got a corner. 1930 Bafraspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Belgium's Yves Dervaux to fire away a dangerous shot which Çakır Alyakut despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göksel Taşdan in the 53rd minute of play. Martin Johansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Claes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Johansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Sander Dermaut charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sander Dermaut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Belgium! 1930 Bafraspor's Cenap İkinci was substituted for Tayfun Kahraman. Alaaddin Benlioğlu got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rıdvan Balıkçı. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıdvan Balıkçı in the 68th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 minutes 1930 Bafraspor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Vanderstraeten who took care of the corner kick. Siebe Michiels was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rıdvan Balıkçı, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Rıdvan Balıkçı scored 5-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Çakır Alyakut was a little too slow when Yves Dervaux got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 5-2. After a rather tough play, 1930 Bafraspor's Thierry Hermans got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 95 minutes of play, 1930 Bafraspor's Rıdvan Balıkçı made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casper Claes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 1930 Bafraspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Belgium had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
