Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Crăciunescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kyle Cox was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of England booed when Stoicii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benoit Gijselinckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelian Podgoreanu charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelian Podgoreanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Stoicii's Aurelian Podgoreanu got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Micah Macdonald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihăiţă Mirciulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Micah Macdonald went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Xavier Gallagher sent off a good shot on target. England's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
