Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Philip Doyle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jakub Latocha went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. João do Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Philip Doyle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fae Folgore. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Fabelo in the 22nd minute of play forced Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goalkeeper Philip Doyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s Ryleigh McLaughlin got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wincenty Szarmach came free, but Philip Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Fabelo to strike the kick off in the second half. Cormac Dillon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Anderson Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ballybunion Celtic F.C. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Conleth Tracy hit a great ball. Philip Doyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Fabelo in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Salmon Dalton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fae Folgore the free kick. If Jakub Latocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Doyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Latocha in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Ballybunion Celtic F.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ryleigh McLaughlin was slow to take the kick. During this time Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The Fae Folgore players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
