The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Manfred Fribäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleiton Camargo in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute, Juan Lebron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dito Braga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 11 minutes, Agnaldo Sarmento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaru-Uaru and the Norrlands Athen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Jaru-Uaru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agnaldo Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Filcho Slivkov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dito Braga. Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Clóvis Baiano's late challenge caught a Norrlands Athen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clóvis Baiano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jaru-Uaru getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Clóvis Baiano hit a great ball. Dito Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Måns Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Måns Sandberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dito Braga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Måns Sandberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Dito Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Sandberg in the 15th minute of play. Manfred Fribäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 22nd play minutes Måns Sandberg shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Dito Braga and just under the crossbar into goal. After 28 minutes of play, Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dito Braga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Norrlands Athen's Juan Lebron came free and shot a quick shot against goal 33 minutes in the game, fortunately Dito Braga had problems saving as it came toward the left post. With a little luck, Jaru-Uaru's Dito Braga got control of the ball when Juan Lebron tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dito Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Sandberg in the 35th minute of the match. Jaru-Uaru's Dito Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Sandberg in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Jaru-Uaru's zone, Måns Sandberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dito Braga came out of the goal and Måns Sandberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Toscano to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when Jaru-Uaru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute Måns Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Måns Sandberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norrlands Athen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 54 played minutes Jaru-Uaru got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Rosa. After having played for 56 minutes, Filcho Slivkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norrlands Athen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filcho Slivkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dito Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Lebron in the 57th minute of the match. Edmundo Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Manfred Fribäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Måns Sandberg scored 8-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dito Braga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Norrlands Athen made a substitution. Mathias Alrot replaced Urbano Fidencio. Norrlands Athen's Tord Lundin was substituted for Arvin Låsberg. Norrlands Athen made a substitution. Gilbert Hermansson replaced Måns Sandberg. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Mathias Alrot got a free kick in the 66th minute. Gilbert Hermansson scored 9-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dito Braga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Gilbert Hermansson notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Jaru-Uaru's Dito Braga. Dito Braga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacinto da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Gilbert Hermansson put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dito Braga. The Norrlands Athen fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Norrlands Athen's Gilbert Hermansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gilbert Hermansson took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dito Braga. Dito Braga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Tatum in the 98th minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Dito Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
