Holger Vennerlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Szarmach in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Wincenty Szarmach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holger Vennerlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Fabelo went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With his leg Teobald Kociniewski managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Gnesta Oilers's Lars Hammarberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stefan Dalkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Mariusz Sebzda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fae Folgore's Marco Fabelo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Fae Folgore booed when Gnesta Oilers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Skoglund didn't get a good kick on the ball.
Per-Åke Lundgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Cyprian Japola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holger Vennerlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Fabelo in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Kasper Vallman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teobald Kociniewski. Fae Folgore's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kasper Vallman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Per-Åke Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gnesta Oilers's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Åke Lundgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobald Kociniewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torbjörn Odeen kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Gnesta Oilers got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Odeen. 70 minutes into the match, Gnesta Oilers's goalkeeper Holger Vennerlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Fabelo. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gnesta Oilers's goalkeeper Holger Vennerlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd minute of the match Fae Folgore got a corner. Gnesta Oilers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Fabelo got free with Holger Vennerlund in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Holger Vennerlund made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Marco Fabelo sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Mariusz Sebzda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Fabelo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Holger Vennerlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fae Folgore. Marco Fabelo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Holger Vennerlund. Holger Vennerlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 95 minutes into the game, Fae Folgore's Barnaba Barniszke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Holger Vennerlund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Fae Folgore's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
