An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathis Limpens in the 40th minute of play forced Ballybunion Celtic F.C.'s goalkeeper Philip Doyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ballybunion Celtic F.C. booed when KFC Paal-Tervant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthonio Villyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willem-Jan Steuckens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brenda MaCollin in the 66th minute of play. If Blamhac Johnson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Braulio Martinez put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Willem-Jan Steuckens. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryleigh McLaughlin during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
