After 8 played minutes VN Ultra Spartak got a freekick which was hit by Neycho Madin. After a rather tough play, VN Ultra Spartak's Radko Zhezhov got a free kick in the 12th minute. Karl-Ove Söderström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bocho Razpopov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Holger Vennerlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Botyo Kiselichki's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Botyo Kiselichki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Holger Vennerlund was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Torbjörn Odeen's late challenge caught a VN Ultra Spartak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Holger Vennerlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georgi Parlapanski, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Bocho Razpopov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kasper Vallman in the 39th minute. 47 minutes into the match, VN Ultra Spartak's goalkeeper Bocho Razpopov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Dahlquist. After the first half VN Ultra Spartak were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Holger Vennerlund successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Holger Vennerlund made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Botyo Kiselichki sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute Georgi Parlapanski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gnesta Oilers's Holger Vennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georgi Parlapanski in the 63rd minute of play. Botyo Kiselichki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Holger Vennerlund skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gnesta Oilers's attentive Alfred Liljeström managed to snatch the ball when Gergin Valyavicharski made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Alfred Liljeström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bocho Razpopov. VN Ultra Spartak's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Georgi Parlapanski struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Holger Vennerlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VN Ultra Spartak. Botyo Kiselichki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Holger Vennerlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Botyo Kiselichki got free with Holger Vennerlund in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Botyo Kiselichki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Holger Vennerlund, 0-2. Holger Vennerlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georgi Parlapanski in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 97th minute Orlin Hikov managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal.
