Teobald Kociniewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Tate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dariusz Kluczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Fribäck having to interfere. If Måns Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute of the match, Andrew Tate got a very nice opportunity to score, but Teobald Kociniewski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hu Lei Guang lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 30 minutes into the game, Fae Folgore's Wincenty Szarmach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The wind increased when Wincenty Szarmach made the kick off in the second half. Wincenty Szarmach's late challenge caught a Norrlands Athen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
