Norrlands Athen's supporters rose to their feet, but Måns Sandberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tombolo Wa Kadima Ruchthanatuchaiiakul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tombolo Wa Kadima Ruchthanatuchaiiakul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Tate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tombolo Wa Kadima Ruchthanatuchaiiakul dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Gilbert Hermansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Gomar in the 92nd minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Manfred Fribäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Lucjan Walentowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tombolo Wa Kadima Ruchthanatuchaiiakul made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Gilbert Hermansson sent off a good shot on target. Gilbert Hermansson took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tombolo Wa Kadima Ruchthanatuchaiiakul. Tombolo Wa Kadima Ruchthanatuchaiiakul dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. The Norrlands Athen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Norrlands Athen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
