Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tage Backlund in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willem-Jan Steuckens saved KFC Paal-Tervant from getting behind. Tage Backlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Willem-Jan Steuckens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tage Backlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Willem-Jan Steuckens made a huge save. If Arvin Låsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute, Mathis Limpens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manfred Fribäck was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Norrlands Athen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
