After 5 minutes, Jan-Kenneth Woll mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åsnes and the VARGINHA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Jan-Kenneth Woll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goalkeeper Christer Waaler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvin Thedin. VARGINHA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Josué Paiva in the 7th minute. When VARGINHA FC's Josué Paiva in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åsnes's goalie prevented a goal. Leontin Prelipceanu's late challenge caught a Åsnes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leontin Prelipceanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, one of VARGINHA FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VARGINHA FC. Alvin Thedins short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Christer Waaler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 23rd minute, Alvin Thedin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christer Waaler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Gaspar in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Josué Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Waaler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Alvin Thedin took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Christer Waaler to make any attempt to save it. Dito Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor-Kristian Fosse in the 37th minute of play. Álvaro Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Jan-Kenneth Woll hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvin Thedin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christer Waaler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvin Thedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes got control of the ball when Tor-Kristian Fosse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dito Novaes made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when John-Einar Bøen sent off a good shot on target. Christer Waaler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Paiva in the 61st minute of the match. Tor-Kristian Fosse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dito Novaes having to interfere. Christer Waaler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Thedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Truls Roll hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Marcus Tande notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Åsnes's Christer Waaler. Christer Waaler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rdth minute of the game Alvin Thedin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åsnes's Christer Waaler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Álvaro Gaspar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christer Waaler. Åsnes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Álvaro Gaspar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 88 minutes into the match, Åsnes's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Paiva came free, but Christer Waaler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes VARGINHA FC got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Prelipceanu. Dito Novaes made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Tor-Kristian Fosse sent off a good shot on target. When Alvin Thedin came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the VARGINHA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvin Thedin couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Åsnes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VARGINHA FC.
