Babilonia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åsnes the free kick. Teo Llorenc hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Truls Roll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Deunoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, Åsnes's Truls Roll made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cirilo Deunoro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bass Dost hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Bass Dost got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bass Dost could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Christer Waaler made a huge save. Christer Waaler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Lugo in the 28th minute of the match. Serafin Eneto got in the 31st minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Christer Waaler and thus it was 2-2. Bass Dost could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Christer Waaler made a huge save. The supporters of Åsnes booed when Babilonia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Eneto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christer Waaler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Lugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Bass Dost managed to get in a good position for a shot. Babilonia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bass Dost was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Waaler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute of the match Babilonia FC got a corner. Åsnes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geronimo Mendebal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andres Haritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Christer Waaler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bass Dost's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christer Waaler was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 71st minute Tor-Kristian Fosse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Deunoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bass Dost scored 4-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christer Waaler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Babilonia FC's Cirilo Deunoro got control of the ball when John-Einar Bøen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Tor-Kristian Fosse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cirilo Deunoro. In the 92nd minute John-Einar Bøen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Deunoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Babilonia FC had won after a very even match.
