The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert De nuijter got free with Hickey Dunne in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert De nuijter's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hickey Dunne firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 11th minute, Akil Kaliaj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Vc Brye's Robert De nuijter in 12 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Hickey Dunne guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. With a little luck, Prishtina FC's Hickey Dunne got control of the ball when Oyedeji Rau tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Vc Brye's Hickey Dunne threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabríel Vassaras, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Drian Veleshta hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Robert De nuijter in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hickey Dunne, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 21 minutes into the match, Vc Brye's Robert De nuijter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hickey Dunne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabríel Vassaras who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Hickey Dunne when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 24 minutes of play, Prishtina FC's Tião Donato made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henri-Patrick De Mare was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henri-Patrick De Mare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tião Donato's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 31 minutes of play, Prishtina FC's Tião Donato made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henri-Patrick De Mare was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Robert De nuijter could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Hickey Dunne however easily saved by the left post. Hickey Dunne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fox 鲁迅, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henri-Patrick De Mare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tião Donato's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. If Oyedeji Rau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Vc Brye's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Donato came free, but Henri-Patrick De Mare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Robert De nuijter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tião Donato made a kick off. The supporters of Vc Brye booed when Prishtina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drian Veleshta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hickey Dunne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert De nuijter in the 61st minute of the match. Hickey Dunne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fox 鲁迅 in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Dan Cutean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Prishtina FC's Tião Donato in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vc Brye's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Vc Brye's Henri-Patrick De Mare got control of the ball when Donato Conrao tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Vc Brye's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Donato came free, but Henri-Patrick De Mare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Gabríel Vassaras sped through Prishtina FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hickey Dunne. Vc Brye's Christiaan Poortmans was substituted for Bart-Jan Ablij. Hickey Dunne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philipp Van Landeghem, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Hickey Dunne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oyedeji Rau in the 84th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Prishtina FC defense, Gabríel Vassaras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hickey Dunne. The Prishtina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hickey Dunne should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Prishtina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Stoica came free, but Hickey Dunne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vc Brye's Henri-Patrick De Mare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Vc Brye from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute, Ştefan Stoica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hickey Dunne was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. When the referee ended the match the Vc Brye players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
