Stig-Inge Nymoen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arneil Trossero having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Inge Nymoen in the 8th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Arneil Trossero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Al Wieczorek got free with Arneil Trossero in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, AC Milan's Arneil Trossero got control of the ball when Al Wieczorek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute Kenneth Hanssen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arneil Trossero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Al Wieczorek's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arneil Trossero firmly grabbed it by the left post. 26 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Inge Nymoen came free, but Arneil Trossero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arneil Trossero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig-Inge Nymoen's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Al Wieczorek notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of AC Milan's Arneil Trossero. Arneil Trossero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Al Wieczorek got free with Arneil Trossero in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arneil Trossero stood somewhat misplaced when Al Wieczorek came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kálmán Pádár in the 35th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Arneil Trossero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arneil Trossero stood somewhat misplaced when Al Wieczorek came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 36 minute. 40 minutes into the game, Stig-Inge Nymoen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Arneil Trossero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goalkeeper Arneil Trossero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Al Wieczorek. Al Wieczorek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Arneil Trossero made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Kjell Hallgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Bergdal to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of AC Milan booed when Åsnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Alnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 minutes of play, AC Milan's Adam Bergdal made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christer Waaler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arneil Trossero came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Åsnes's Al Wieczorek. But to his dismay, Al Wieczorek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. After 62 minutes of play, Åsnes's Kálmán Pádár made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arneil Trossero was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Pejman Zahedi came free, but Arneil Trossero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Al Wieczorek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arneil Trossero was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. AC Milan's Rutger Backlund suffered a concussion in the 72nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 72 minutes, Jarl Rossebø mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åsnes and the AC Milan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, Al Wieczorek made a precise shot to the right of Arneil Trossero. AC Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. After 78 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Malmström. 79 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Inge Nymoen came free, but Arneil Trossero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arneil Trossero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Al Wieczorek went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. Christer Waaler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt Kilberg in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Jarl Rossebø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-1. Arneil Trossero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Stig-Inge Nymoen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arneil Trossero was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-1. Holger Wallman kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Åsnes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
