The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evtim Stanov in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Latif Hanif, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Poppy FC's Latif Hanif proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Poppy FC from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Di Kun fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Latif Hanif managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Botev Plovdiv 1912's Evtim Stanov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 17th minute, Di Kun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Evtim Stanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evtim Stanovs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Latif Hanif to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Botev Plovdiv 1912 booed when Poppy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gencal Olgaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Evtim Stanov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Latif Hanif was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Akif Baytugay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Botev Plovdiv 1912's Di Kun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Latif Hanif. Latif Hanif yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Di Kun in the 32nd minute of play forced Poppy FC's goalkeeper Latif Hanif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evtim Stanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Botev Plovdiv 1912's Di Kun in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Poppy FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evtim Stanov got free with Latif Hanif in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Poppy FC! When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Di Kun sped through Poppy FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Latif Hanif. Botev Plovdiv 1912's Di Kun got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Akif Baytugay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Tomislav Gitzov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Botev Plovdiv 1912 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The supporters of Botev Plovdiv 1912 booed when Poppy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Emrah Aydoğan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Di Kun in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Latif Hanif saved Poppy FC from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Evtim Stanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Latif Hanif was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Di Kun might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Latif Hanif. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Di Kun ran back to his position shaking his head. The Botev Plovdiv 1912 fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Botev Plovdiv 1912's Di Kun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Evtim Stanov took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Latif Hanif. Latif Hanif dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Joacim Dromph showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Savaş Pakel, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Evtim Stanov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botev Plovdiv 1912's supporters rose to their feet, but Evtim Stanov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Latif Hanif breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Latif Hanif took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poppy FC's Latif Hanif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Di Kun in the 85th minute of play. Latif Hanif came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Botev Plovdiv 1912's Di Kun. But to his dismay, Di Kun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. In the 91st minute, Evtim Stanov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Latif Hanif was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Botev Plovdiv 1912 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
