Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cankut Koytak, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selim Gulson in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Selim Gulson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCFiratRom's goalkeeper Cyprian Trzenzalski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 36 played minutes FCFiratRom got a freekick which was hit by Cankut Koytak. 37 minutes into the match, FCFiratRom's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Cyprian Trzenzalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 38th minute when Selim Gulson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to FCFiratRom getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Selim Gulson hit a great ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyprian Trzenzalski having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when İbrahim Trabzonlu made the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selim Gulson in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Wim Wilmes could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Cyprian Trzenzalski however easily saved by the left post. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind FCFiratRom's goalkeeper Cyprian Trzenzalski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Cyprian Trzenzalski got in the way and made a wonderful save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Cyprian Trzenzalski in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Cyprian Trzenzalski threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FCFiratRom's goalie and right to Egbert Nijveldt. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FCFiratRom's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Cyprian Trzenzalski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Cumhur Tokyürek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FCFiratRom's Cyprian Trzenzalski got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. FCFiratRom's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that FCFiratRom's Cyprian Trzenzalski managed to reach the ball for a save. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cyprian Trzenzalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FCFiratRom support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
