The Povratnici fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mladen Gambiroža in the 8th minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Mladen Gambiroža made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Higgins. Scotland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrej Palković in the 13th minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrej Palković could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Alexander Higgins made a huge save. Mladen Gambiroža took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Wong Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. Alexander Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrej Palković, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jack MacKinnon charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jack MacKinnon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Jack MacKinnon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrej Palković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrej Palković scored 5-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexander Higgins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mladen Gambiroža sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, Andrej Palković recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexander Higgins. Andrej Palković showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrej Palković was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Mladen Gambiroža cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Alexander Higgins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute, Andrej Palković ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Higgins was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After 62 minutes of play, Povratnici's Andrej Palković made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Higgins was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 66 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Jack MacKinnon. 67 minutes into the game, Povratnici's Andrej Palković nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Higgins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Ayaan McGowan kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mladen Gambiroža in the 72nd minute of play forced Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Scotland's goal looked a bit too open when Andrej Palković came free, but Alexander Higgins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrej Palković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77thth minute of the game Mladen Gambiroža who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scotland's Alexander Higgins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andrej Palković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Mladen Gambiroža notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Scotland's Alexander Higgins. Alexander Higgins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 88 played minutes Povratnici got a freekick which was hit by Rueben Hughes. A collision led to Scotland getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ayaan McGowan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Povratnici's Grga Frković got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Scotland's zone, Mladen Gambiroža stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Higgins came out of the goal and Mladen Gambiroža tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Povratnici fully deserved thier win.
