The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michal Kiszkiel in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hias Nüssli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miedzyrzec Utd were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Switzerland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bogdan Pleban took the corner. After a rather tough play, Miedzyrzec Utd's Bogdan Pleban got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Samuele Kunz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jacinto Maurer came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Switzerland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Maurer couldn't finish the play. If Jacinto Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Glaza in the 20th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michal Kiszkiel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Hias Nüssli made a huge save. Ryszard Glaza hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Miedzyrzec Utd's Michal Kiszkiel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Miedzyrzec Utd's Ryszard Glaza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hias Nüssli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuele Kunz to strike the kick off in the second half. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Kiszkiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Ryszard Glaza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryszard Glaza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Hias Nüssli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michal Kiszkiel went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Ryszard Glaza made a precise shot to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Miedzyrzec Utd were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Switzerland for a fine match.
