Thanks to some nice moves Ben Susters could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Ilija Skugor however easily saved by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Remo Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. ANDERLECHT's supporters rose to their feet, but Remo Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilija Skugor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karlo Fuster in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ilija Skugor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Karlo Fuster did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Ilija Skugor 29 minutes into the match. Ilija Skugor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After a defensive mix-up in Croatia's zone, Jeremey Vanooteghem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal and Jeremey Vanooteghem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karlo Fuster stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pär Lilja took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. 54 minutes into the match, Pär Lilja had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pär Lilja was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. After 59 minutes of play, ANDERLECHT's Karlo Fuster made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilija Skugor was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Ben Susters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilija Skugor was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Karlo Fuster scored 12-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilija Skugor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ANDERLECHT's Manuel Roukeloes was substituted for Ben Susters. In the 67th minute Pär Lilja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
