With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lázaro Hulberto in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Guimarães saved October 04 from getting behind. Narciso Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Dubardo in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match Mário Pena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Americo Felipo skillfully saved the ball. Narciso Guimarães had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Lionel Messi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 97th minute, Reinaldo Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 98 played minutes, BARRILETE COSMICO's Dániel Sóti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Narciso Guimarães came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BARRILETE COSMICO reached it. Neither BARRILETE COSMICO or October 04 succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Aaron Svartengren made the kick off and play began. Narciso Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 104th minute, when Aaron Svartengren sent off a good shot on target. In the 149th minute there was a penalty for October 04. Waldemar de Sena stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Americo Felipo. 5-5. Narciso Guimarães had in the 151stth minute some difficulties stopping Eloy Dubardo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. October 04 were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over BARRILETE COSMICO's much stronger midfield.
