The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Socorro. Alonzo Atarrabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Barros in the 6th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Blas Martin in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Berserkers FC Ψ's Serafin Bernabel. 11 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pergamino's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Barros came free, but Alonzo Atarrabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Martin made in the 14th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Baltasar Santio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Socorro in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dibag Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 minutes, Ciro Socorro made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Berserkers FC Ψ's Dibag Martinez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Luisito Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Luisito Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alonzo Atarrabi was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Berserkers FC Ψ's Serafin Bernabel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Blas Martin in the 26 minute of the game. If Luisito Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute Luisito Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Atarrabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonzo Atarrabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Alonzo Atarrabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Barros in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Chepe got free with Dibag Martinez in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berserkers FC Ψ's Luisito Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Berserkers FC Ψ's Dibag Martinez got control of the ball when Ciro Socorro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciro Socorro was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisito Barros during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Berserkers FC Ψ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Luisito Barros hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the game, Luisito Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alonzo Atarrabi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Berserkers FC Ψ's Alfonso Frisco was substituted for Luisito Barros. Alonzo Atarrabi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiburcio Oliveiro in the 65th minute. Ramiro Jurgi's late challenge caught a Deportivo Pergamino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berserkers FC Ψ were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Deportivo Pergamino's much stronger midfield.
