Leonard Chirculescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maruli Mandaga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonard Chirculescu ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Maruli Mandaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Chirculescu. Paralia Athens's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucrețiu Miheș in the 25th minute. A nice corner shot did that Lucrețiu Miheș got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maruli Mandaga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Leonard Chirculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute Leonard Chirculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maruli Mandaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doru Apostu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chandra Effendy in the 32nd minute of the match. Doru Apostu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leysus Latuihamalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maruli Mandaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Chirculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Paralia Athens's Iulian Doinaș started the play with his kick off. Paralia Athens's Doru Apostu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahdiyat Luntungan in the 103rd minute of play. Kabul Sonjaya kicked well hit freekick during the 104th minute of the match. If Kabul Sonjaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 106th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 113 minutes into the game, Leonard Chirculescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paralia Athens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Leonard Chirculescu got a free kick in the 113th minute. With the score at 2-2, the referee blew for the end of the half. The players got a few minutes to recover before they had to start the second half of extra-time.

The players looked a little tired but resolute before the second half of the overtime, where Kabul Sonjaya took the kick off. When Jahfal Soedomo fell near the penalty area in the 121st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's protests and gave Jahfal Soedomo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 121st match minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jahfal Soedomo to maneuver through the defense. When the match had been going on for 147 minutes, Paralia Athens's Leonard Chirculescu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Maruli Mandaga. Paralia Athens's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
