Spectators: 2483 (Terracing: 1863, Seating: 571, VIP seats: 49) -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Manuel Șora started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes in the game, Matei Comișel fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Emanuel Stanca having to interfere. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Emanuel Stanca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Barca de Buzau from getting a goal against them. The supporters of -BZF- Barca de Buzau booed when Rovine Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Comișel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurel Ionașcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorin Arșanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. If Matei Comișel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to -BZF- Barca de Buzau getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Manuel Șora hit a great ball. Dorin Arșanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Ionașcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Crăiniceanu. A collision led to -BZF- Barca de Buzau getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Manuel Șora hit a great ball. Dorin Arșanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Movileanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 26th play minutes Jerry Gane shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Emanuel Stanca and just under the crossbar into goal. Emanuel Movileanu took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorin Arșanu. Dorin Arșanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Panait Vochin got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jerry Gane fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Emanuel Stanca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerry Gane in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute Darius Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Arșanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Liviu Răuţă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Costică Ştefănescu. Rovine Craiova's Dorin Arșanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Șora in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matei Comișel was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Manuel Șora got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute Nistor Pătran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Stanca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, one of Rovine Craiova:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rovine Craiova. 60 minutes into the game, Jerry Gane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Emanuel Stanca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. -BZF- Barca de Buzau made a substitution. Anton Otețea replaced Aurel Ionașcu. Gheorghe Crăiniceanu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Iordache Moisescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emanuel Stanca. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Rovine Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Șora came free, but Dorin Arșanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Iordache Moisescu. 88 minutes into the game, Panait Vochin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rovine Craiova the free kick. After 88 played minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Panait Vochin. Emanuel Stanca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Gane in the 89th minute of the match. Dorin Arșanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Otețea, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Manuel Șora notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Rovine Craiova's Dorin Arșanu. Dorin Arșanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Iulian Taşcu was substituted for Manuel Șora.

The Rovine Craiova supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching -BZF- Barca de Buzau's performance. The match ended with a win for -BZF- Barca de Buzau.
