Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 杨宽迪 to make the kick off. After 78 minutes, 方潮国 made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Croatia's Ilija Skugor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 莫鹰峰, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the Croatia defense, 杨宽迪 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. The Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilija Skugor should have stopped the shot.
