Stanislaw Ziombkowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th minute, Golo Phoenix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some careless play in the Brzeźnica Lynx defense, Virgil Jupân kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanislaw Ziombkowski. The Brzeźnica Lynx fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanislaw Ziombkowski should have stopped the shot. After 24 played minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Marin Ciulei. In the 25th minute of the match, Tomasz Rode tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Moise Ţurlău saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stanislaw Ziombkowski came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Golo Phoenix. But to his dismay, Golo Phoenix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 32nd match minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Jupân to maneuver through the defense. Stanislaw Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Phoenix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Golo Phoenix. Stanislaw Ziombkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Phoenix in the 41st minute of play. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Golo Phoenix looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Golo Phoenix to make the kick off. Stanislaw Ziombkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Jupân in the 57th minute of the match. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Golo Phoenix looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stanislaw Ziombkowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Golo Phoenix showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 62 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Rode in the 70th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Moise Ţurlău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moise Ţurlău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakub Tomiczek in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Brzeźnica Lynx's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Vermeşan came free, but Stanislaw Ziombkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Brzeźnica Lynx defense, Golo Phoenix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanislaw Ziombkowski. The Brzeźnica Lynx fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanislaw Ziombkowski should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Golo Phoenix ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stanislaw Ziombkowski. Stanislaw Ziombkowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. In the 93rd match minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Golo Phoenix to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Brzeźnica Lynx booed when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Moarcăș didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cyprian Gniech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
