Ramiro Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Golo Phoenix in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Aristide Fetea notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Squadra Demarchi's Ramiro Mello. Ramiro Mello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ramiro Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Vermeşan in the 11th minute of the match. With a little luck, Squadra Demarchi's Ramiro Mello got control of the ball when Aristide Fetea tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 13 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Mané Xavier. Squadra Demarchi's Ramiro Mello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Squadra Demarchi from getting a goal against them. Ramiro Mello made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Aristide Fetea sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the game, Aristide Fetea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ramiro Mello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 26 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Mota. After a rather tough play, Squadra Demarchi's Ernesto Pereira got a free kick in the 27th minute. A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Virgil Jupân hit a great ball. Mané Xavier's late challenge caught a PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mané Xavier helped the player get up and apologised. Virgil Jupân took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Mello. Ramiro Mello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 44 minutes into the game, Aristide Fetea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ramiro Mello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Marin Ciulei made in the 56th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aristide Fetea immediately put the ball in play. 58 minutes into the game, Nistor Vermeşan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ramiro Mello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th match minute, Squadra Demarchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mané Xavier to maneuver through the defense. Lucian Şimonca, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 71st minute Golo Phoenix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Moise Ţurlău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Loyola in the 72nd minute of play. Ramiro Mello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nistor Vermeşan went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Squadra Demarchi defense, Aristide Fetea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Mello. The Squadra Demarchi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Mello should have stopped the shot. Ramiro Mello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgil Jupân went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Jupân in the 90th minute of play forced Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Ramiro Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Vermeşan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
