The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Vitomir Stoin fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VN Ultra Spartak's protests and gave Vitomir Stoin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to VN Ultra Spartak getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Vitomir Stoin hit a great ball. After 8 minutes, Janek Vabadus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harkujärve JK and the VN Ultra Spartak players grew even worse after the yellow card. Janek Vabadus hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Hardi Rahumets hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. With 15 minutes on the clock, Gospodin Fúrtunkov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Peycho Bratovanov had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Tiit Kääpa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Peycho Bratovanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hardi Rahumets in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiit Kääpa in the 19th minute of play forced VN Ultra Spartak's goalkeeper Peycho Bratovanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Slavcho Smilov fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Peycho Bratovanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Üksvärav, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Martin Üksvärav took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peycho Bratovanov. Peycho Bratovanov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tiit Kääpa struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Peycho Bratovanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harkujärve JK. The crowd rose to their feet as Adam Dzhurkov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silver Saluste. That made the score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. Silver Saluste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Dzhurkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

VN Ultra Spartak's Bocho Zhivankin was substituted for Slavcho Smilov. In the 52nd minute, Valkan Pelov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silver Saluste was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Tiit Kääpa had several of the VN Ultra Spartak's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Peycho Bratovanov as he didn't even see the shot coming. Janno Arumäe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Peycho Bratovanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harkujärve JK made a substitution. Rein Ess replaced Arvo Laaneoks. If Tiit Kääpa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes, Valko Matov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VN Ultra Spartak and the Harkujärve JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Harkujärve JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sepo Kiis to maneuver through the defense. Peycho Bratovanov made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Heino Hurm sent off a good shot on target. Silver Saluste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spas Tzolovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rein Ess during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of VN Ultra Spartak booed when Harkujärve JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rein Ess didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Harkujärve JK booed when VN Ultra Spartak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Dzhurkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VN Ultra Spartak fans cheered their team off the field, for while Harkujärve JK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
