An unexpectedly hard shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 7th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Feliberto Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, one of Lobos de Carelia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 18 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's Andres Ursino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Orlando Gatti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zeca Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lobos de Carelia's Adolfo Gombal got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 30th minute, Bolo Bolaño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliberto Ipar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Julio Kemen scored 2-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliberto Ipar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adolfo Evangelista's late challenge caught a Lobos de Carelia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Evangelista helped the player get up and apologised. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bolo Bolaño to strike the kick off in the second half. Feliberto Ipar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 51st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fagildo Pamanes in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliberto Ipar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Consejo del Mate from getting a goal against them. Feliberto Ipar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lobos de Carelia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fagildo Pamanes was slow to take the kick. During this time Consejo del Mate's players had a chance to rest. 65 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Fagildo Pamanes came free, but Feliberto Ipar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 70th minute of the game was made by Elvio Lin with Javier Betadur as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Prospero Perico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Hugo Orlando Gatti made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Consejo del Mate's zone, Prospero Perico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal and Prospero Perico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prospero Perico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prospero Perico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 minutes, Prospero Perico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lobos de Carelia and the Consejo del Mate players grew even worse after the yellow card. Prospero Perico kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Feliberto Ipar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Kemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliberto Ipar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Kemen in the 86th minute of the match. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Consejo del Mate from getting a goal against them. Eusebio Rios hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Consejo del Mate were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lobos de Carelia for a fine match.
