Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeca Fernandez got free with Clemente Benvido in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Zeca Fernandez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Benvido was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricky Kalischer to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Zeca Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Canalla Fuego made a substitution. Aldo-Pedro Peto replaced Ricky Kalischer. In the 62nd minute, Gabriel Efraim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canalla Fuego's goalkeeper Clemente Benvido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Canalla Fuego's Clemente Benvido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Perico in the 87th minute of play. Lobos de Carelia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ismael Tauro in the 89th minute. Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Canalla Fuego's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
