The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Andres Pitin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Marcelo Barovero made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Andres Pitin sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Barovero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislaw Hyska in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Efraim in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Mazuste saved Tigres Ñacuñán FC from getting behind. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sinan Okergun in the 28th minute. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Sinan Okergun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcelo Barovero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 29th match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Zeca Fernandez put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eloy Mazuste. Stanislaw Hyska hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Eloy Mazuste stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeca Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 50th minute. In the 54th minute, Gabriel Efraim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Llorian in the 57th minute of play. Marcelo Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sinan Okergun in the 65th minute of the match. Sinan Okergun spun around in front of the goal 65 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Lobos de Carelia's goal. Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico was substituted for Zeca Fernandez. Lobos de Carelia's Amancio Cheche was substituted for Gabriel Efraim. Marcelo Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Llorian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Alfonso Pere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute Amancio Cheche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Mazuste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Mazuste made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Perico in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Amancio Cheche recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eloy Mazuste. Amancio Cheche showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Lobos de Carelia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
