In the 4th minute Floresta Club U18 were awarded a corner. Ruy da Rocha went to the cornerflag to take it. Santo Lorenz tried in the game's 4th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Hugo Orlando Gatti. An annoying self made goal, 1-0. If Bolo Bolaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Léo de Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bolo Bolaño went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Léo de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fagildo Pamanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Consejo del Mate's Fagildo Pamanes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Léo de Brito in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Castro in the 16th minute of play. Douglas de Souza's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hugo Orlando Gatti firmly grabbed it by the left post. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Consejo del Mate from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Julio Kemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas de Souza in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Zambujal in the 31st minute of play forced Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Léo de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bolo Bolaño took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léo de Brito. Léo de Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ervin Alla during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Floresta Club U18 booed when Consejo del Mate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ervin Alla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Orlando Gatti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas de Souza in the 43rd minute.

A nice corner shot did that Ruy da Rocha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Orlando Gatti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Endrik Edmundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Javier Betadur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Léo de Brito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute Fagildo Pamanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bolo Bolaño in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Léo de Brito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fagildo Pamanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo de Brito having to interfere. Julio Kemen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Léo de Brito made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julio Kemen got free with Léo de Brito in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, Douglas de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas de Souza in the 84th minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Floresta Club U18's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ruy da Rocha in the 86th minute. The corner ended in Ruy da Rocha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti did a great save. Léo de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Kemen in the 88th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilmar Castro in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Orlando Gatti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Léo de Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Kemen. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas de Souza in the 96th minute of play. The Consejo del Mate supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Consejo del Mate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
