ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Gonzalez in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA defense, Victorino Gonzalez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Branislav Velchevski. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Branislav Velchevski should have stopped the shot. Yu Kun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Francis in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Tio Cosme FC's Abelardo Asur made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tio Cosme FC's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Elpidio Francis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yu Kun. That made the score 1-3 in the 24 minute of play. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yusuf Yazıcı in the 28th minute of play. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Yazıcı in the 35th minute of the match. Nereo Fernanco got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Angel Gilesindo. Victorino Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Miguel Prosperi got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

If André Monclús had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tio Cosme FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
