They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Marcelo Barovero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Douglas de Souza went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Floresta Club U18's Endrik Edmundo was substituted for Remo da Rocha. Gabriel Efraim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Léo de Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. When Eliseu Rossi fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floresta Club U18's protests and gave Eliseu Rossi a yellow card for diving instead. Eliseu Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas de Souza got free with Marcelo Barovero in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Floresta Club U18 played a much better game than Lobos de Carelia and deserved their victory. The Lobos de Carelia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
